please, does anyone know what i can do to have a flat tummy?
i don't know how i got it that much, cos i don't eat more than once a day.
please, help ASAP.

the protuding tommy might come due to so many factors, drinking, child birth, heriditory, bla bla bla.
i once read, that giving your tomach a little punch every now and then helps as it helps deflate the gas in it, i dont know if that can be medically proven but it works. try 20 slight punches every 3hours.

@ Poster: Hit the gym and do lots and lots of cardio. Sit ups don't work either not when you have fat covering your stomach. Sit ups only helps define the muscles in your abs not burn fat.

ummm, don't drink too much water in the morning. it will cause your tummy to bloat
don't eat food that contain too much salt. it makes your body retain water therefore causing your tummy to bloat (remember osmosis or whatever it is from biology? )
take a poop to remove rubbish from your stomach. in order to be able to take a poop everyday, eat high fiber foods like beans or whole wheat etc. avoid starchy foods like eba or amala or jollof rice. that means big stomach for the rest of the day.
if you're on your period, there's nothing you can do. your body retains water and you swell all over during that time. just pray for it to be over.


one question. do you have a lot of fat in your stomach or is it just bloated? if it's fat, burn the fat with cardio. i.e by walking 45 min everyday and eating healthy. if it's bloating, follow the advice listed above.

LMAO at some of d replies. Depends also on ur eating habits. Honey and Cinnamon will help. Take a teaspoon of d mixture at night. Before u start, use a tape measure on ur waist. As you use the mixture, tape yourself weekly. I know it works, recommended to a friend, she dropped two inches in two weeks.

Cinnamon's yoruba name is Kanafuru, u can get the raw form at local herb shops a.k.a elewe omo. Or go to the spice rack at BGmart or Shoprite, u can buy the bottled one.

Get a Flat Stomach in a Week
This article will tell you how to get a flat
stomach in just one week. Here is a way to get
a flat stomach fast; along with some great diet
tips. There are also some great exercises!

Diets that say you'll lose weight fast
don't work in the long run . If you
pretty much starve yourself, which is
basically what they tell you to do, your
body will try to protect itself. Your
metabolism will slow down, which means
instead of burning calories as quickly as
you normally would, they might store
them as fat!

Try to do some cardio exercises.. Make
time to get out and run at least one mile
at least once a week (though it's better to
run for a certain amount of time rather
than distance). This is a great way to burn
those calories.

Crunches and sit ups are always
good . If you want to build flat muscles
instead of bulky muscles, try your
crunches and/or sit ups with your legs on
the seat of a chair while you lay face up on

Try the bicycle crunches. This will help
tone your abs. Get on the ground facing
up and lift your legs up. Move them as if
you're peddling a bicycle. Make sure to
completely extend your leg; it won't work
as well if your legs are barely moving. Put
your hands behind your head. Every time
one of your legs comes toward you touch
it with your elbow.(Gym)

Watch what you eat. Many diets say,
'don't eat any sugar or sweets' Basically
anything that tastes good, they tell you to
stay away from. It is suggested instead
that every day you cut down a little on the
foods that are not healthy. These may
include: fast food, salad dressings or
condiments, candy, and any other foods
you think might not be 100% good for
you.

Follow the food pyramid to ensure your
food intake portions are right.

Stay away from a few big meals and try
to have several smaller meals or snacks.
When you feel full, stop eating.

Watch what you drink too. You need to
drink at least 8 glasses of water a day.
When you exercise, you should drink even
more. Try to stay away from sodas and
fruit drinks. If you're someone who loves
juice, make sure to get juice that is 100%
juice (many juices try to get away with
sugar water). And if you're someone who
can't stand water, at least dilute the juice
with water.

One thing that has helped to keep me in shape is the half of whole diet. This is a half of the quantity of food you usually eat. I also do the lemon juice therapy, that is, squeezing half of a lemon into a glass of water and drinking it before breakfast. Works for me.

If you want a flat tummy, you must be willing to cut down your calorie intake, do some abdominal exercises everyday, and keep your mid area cinched in/ tightlaced with a Waist Cincher or Corset.
