At least 20 killed in the village of Dawashe at Kukawa local government area in Borno state of North East Nigeria, the JTF deployed in the state reported saying. JTF’s spokesman, Lt. Haruna Mohammed Sani said many were injured in the same village attack on Saturday. This is the first attack by Boko Haram that causes casualty since the beginning of Ramadan, a month of fasting by the Muslim faithfuls. JTF’s spokesman said most of the victims were fishermen caught in the crossfire between JTF forces and Boko Haram, the injured are being treated at a military hospital in the town of Baga.
