Information and communication are vital tools in reaching out to the populace, but the way and manner these are done determines how the people receive and responds to such.
Having said these, our Presidents aides especially Okupe, Gulak and Abati (although the later has adjusted of late) either don't know or are fighting their own personal ambition. A prime example is the news emanating today credited to the Presidency (Gulak) condenming the call for the removal of PDP chairman Alhaji Bamanga Tukur by the Northern Governors after a secret meeting without this aide (Gulak) with the President. I am not interested if Tukur leaves or not, but want to know if the President actually condemn the statement and not the Presidency cos severally conflicting statements from Abati, Okupe and Gulak with that of the President himself.
A situation were these aides misuse their previledges and the same time dragging their Boss into the mud.
Just want to hear your thoughts my fellow NL.

Dr. Doyin Okupe - Senior Special Assistant to President Goodluck Jonathan on Public Affairs.

Dr. Reuben Abati - Special Adviser, Media and Publicity to the President.

Alhaji Ahmed Ali Gulak - Special adviser to President Goodluck Jonathan on
political Affairs

The President did not need to denounce the statement credited to Gulak in condemning some Northern Governors for the call for Tukur's resignation. The whole shenanigans was pure politics and who is in a better position to address such than the special adviser on political affairs ?
