Imagine German Chancelor Merckel Kneel for President Obama...lol



In case you never knew, Malawian president is a female and her name is Joyce Banda.

And so...President of Tanzania, Jakaya Kikwete, held a function recently but everyone stood in awe as the Malawian President knelt down before the Tanzanian President to greet him.

Whilst some people have said that it was a sign of humility for Joyce who was named the 71st most powerful woman in the world by Forbes Magazine in 2012 to kneel down to greet her fellow president, others have opined that she simply humiliated herself and her country.

Also, some have said that her action was suggestive of gender inequality, belittling women as inferior to men. Would a male President prostrate for a fellow male President at a public function?

Whats the biggie? Even in trad weddings, the women normally kneel to serve their husbands palm wine.
