Lagosians are tired of ACN -PDP
The Lagos State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party
has accused the Action Congress of Nigeria, Lagos
chapter, of failing the people of the state.
Chairman of Lagos state PDP, Mr. Olatunji Shelle, said
this while addressing journalists at the state secretariat
in Lagos, on Monday.
Shelle said the ACN was a disappointment to the people.
He added that the PDP was determined to make a
difference in Lagos during the forthcoming 2015
elections, which he described as "a date with history."
The chairman said the people would be looking up to the
PDP as an alternative because they had been long tired
of the policies the ACN-led government, had been
implementing in the state.
He said, "The Lagos PDP would change the tide of
electoral performance in 2015, and we are resolute to
achieving this goal. Actually, no one should be surprised
about this because we have the people looking up to us
as a viable alternative.
"The people had consistently said they were tired of the
ACN government in the state and we certainly have a
date with history in 2015. Opinion poll, as at today,
indicates that the ACN government in Lagos State has
been a disappointment to the people.
"For a long time now, the ACN government has made life
unbearable for Lagosians through obnoxious and anti-
people policies, which have pauperised the vast majority
of the people.
"We sympathise with the feelings and frustration of the
poor citizens of Lagos as they continually suffer trauma
and hardship of all sorts under the ACN government in
Lagos State."

Its very 4ny,its worth laffing at.Lagos state still remain d best state in Nigeria,despite d problems associated with his huge population,because Pdp states has failed 2 create equal opportunities in their own states.Bayelsa collects 1 of d highest fed revenue,with d least population,wat has pdp done 4 dem? Rivers is d 2nd richest,wat has pdp done 4 dem,despite d fact that development is focused only in d capital? Not 2 talk of Delta,Abia,Ebonyi,etc.wat has pdp done 4 Nigeria in 14 years? I have traveled 2 lots of places in dis country,n I can beat my chest n say there's no place like Lagos.

If Lagos were Mini-Nigeria as well known n PDP has bn pilotting our affairs in d larger Nigeria space as presently constituted,pray what magic would they bring to fore in a sophisticated state like Lagos?

When will be PDP Lagos chapter wake up from theIr dream. Lagos state is so far from their reach except Lagos ceases to exist!

Everyone that feels the pulse of ordinary Lagosians knows that the majority of Lagosians are indeed tired of the ACN. Only the internet warriors that worship Tinubu would argue otherwise.

The PDP would win Lagos by a landslide in 2015, even with an average candidate. As long as the election is free and fair and the PDP puts its acts together, the elitist and extremely anti-poor ACN stands no chance because, quite frankly, the oppressed and alienated masses have had enough. This is a no-brainer.
