henro111: What type of antivirus are you using? Are you sure that it is not the anti theft security setting you applied on your antivirus that is causing this? We need to be caution while applying settings relating to security and anti theft protection on our antivirus. Pls check your settings.

Buy a branded men card. For instance, I'm using a Samsung memory card

When you mount the mem card in your phone ensure your phone is set to write to the SD card then take lots of pictures (~12), if possible record a video. Restart your phone, check if the pictures and videos are still present. Take a few more (you may not thought) then restart the phone again and confirm the presence of the pictures. You may restart a third time if you want so you can be very sure

The reason for restarting is that fake memory cards usually loose data when their device has been shutdown or restarted.

It worked for me, I hope this helps

I decided to try the miui rom. I like the built in system tools. I have not had the need to install dxtool box.
I tried doing ota update but it reboots to cwm and I get error signature verification fails. what could be the problem? must I use a special cwm for miui? cos I made my own cwm using mtkdroid tools and I used it to backup and flash miui successfully.

I also thought the miui was based on Android 4.3, it's still on 4.2.1

I, however come accross a topic about someone‘s “bitter experience“ with Tecno & its calcare & become a bit discouraged. D question now is, should I go ahead & get one? If yes, what should I look for? I learnt there‘s both white & black, which among d 2 do u people recommend? Any relevant information would be highly appreciated. Thanks.

battery temperature to low or
too high. Please remove the
battery.. It also switch off
itself at tyms and refuse to on
even wen the ba3 is full.. Only 4 it to on after leaving it 4
sumtyms.. Its a new phone..

Ur ba3 is really bad get another ba3 and if d problem persist....take it to d pLace u bought it and complain...

your phone isn't an official Xiaomi device so naturally MIUI OTA updates wont work for you unless you do a port or use an unofficial version. Its has nothing to do with your cwm recovery and btw MIUI is based on android 4.2 not 4.3. Any 4.3 MIUI you see is a build.prop mod

of course before you can flash custom roms you need to be rooted and have a custom recovery installed.

You don't need your phone to be rooted; provided it can go into the recovery mood of your phone, ur good to go. And please after porting the MUIM ROM, don't try rooting, its automatically roots ur phone. If there's any other problem plz feel free to lay your complains.

MIUM rom is built on 4.2 even the MR3 you see in seun blog is 4.2 but it is tagged 4.2. The issue of u getting an error in updates could be the following reasons; you don't have an external sd card. Cuz the firmware or update file downloads to external mcard which is the default update location; 2ndly u didn't wipe the cache of ur phone or delvk arena before porting, I've posted a link to the most stable UI ROM already. And that's what I'm using; I've updated my OTA twice, currently using version 3.12.21

Perform a wipe; format the phone; I think there's a bug in the phone.

Hello guys, please i need your help..
I just got a techno phantom a+ from a guy..everything is working well except for the fact that when a caller calls in, they cant hear me at all but i can hear them clearly..also, i tried using the recorder option but it was not recording anything.
Pls what could be wrong with the fone..
