Ok. Good he is been sack via forceful resignation. Uyo senatorial district which he belongs have ruled the state for 8yrs under victor attah and currently ,akpabio is serving his 2nd term representing ikot ekpene senatorial district. 2015 is turn for eket senatorial district.but umana umana due to his selfishness don't want eket to rule the state,he believes its his turn to rule. The man's ambition was suffocating Akpabio's govt. BTW, what is wrong with Akpabio? Does he want to hand over to his wife? He keeps taking down anybody and everybody that mouths a political intention, whether senate or governorship. Does he want Akwa ibom to become his farm with a farm manager appointed by him, after office? |

The new SSG is most qualified for the job. Let Umanah rest jooor. He has been a major beneficiary of dis our democracy. Retired from civil service as a director in d budget office, commissioner for finance for 8 good years n now secretary to state government for 6 yrs, den wants to contest for office of governor even wen its d turn of anoda ethnic group (eket/oron)to produce the governor. He has even been nominated to represent Akwa ibom state on the board of NDDC as managing director n as I heared he refused. Well enough is enough, let d right thing be done. I am still a proponents of zoning as far as Nigerian politics is concerned.No zone in this country can be said to lack a credible candidate.Even i "Kulas" can perfom well in piloting the affairs of my state.Though its a welcome development to sack the SSG,but akpabio should not talk against zoning because he can not claim that he is the authentic winner of the election if not that he is selected.In my home state,zoning agreement was NOT WRITTEN but we maturely adopted it,so that every zone will feel recognized.Before the advent of 1999 democracy, Dr. Okwesilieze Nwodo(Enugu North)has one time been a governor.In 1999-2007, Dr.Chimaroke Nnamdi(Enugu East).In 2007-date, Sullivan Chime(Enugu West).And in 2015 i believe,power will go back to Enugu North.So no Zone feel marginalized in the power game or infrastractural development and it is working for us. |

Politicians of the SSG's pedigree should put the development of the state above self interest. While we keep singing "AKWA-IBOM ADO OK" civil servants are being owed backlog of unpaid allowances. |
