For the sake of charity, 1,200 peole gatherd together, dressed as Superman, smashing the record for the most people dressed as the comic book hero gathered together in one place. More photos after the cut:

The stunt was organized at the music festival by costume experts Escapade to raise money for Help For Heroes, the charity for injured servicemen and their families and the event was the three-day Kendal Calling festival in the Lake District, UK. The company gave away hundreds of free Superman costumes to encourage people to join in.

Previously, the record had been set by 556 people but it was broken recently as 867 people of the 1200 people who were present for the count.

Such bright colours and organization for a good cause. Nice one!
