Moroccans are outraged by a royal pardon granted to a Spanish paedophile previously sentenced to 30 years in jail for child rape. Daniel Fino Galván was among 48 Spanish prisoners forgiven by Morocco's king. Galvan's lawyer confirmed Galván has already left the country.

Galván was released on Throne Day, an annual holiday celebrating Morocco's ruling family and often a day of royal pardons. The Spaniards were released on request by the king of Spain, whose political influence stems from Morocco's colonial days.
