What u ve to do is textwrap the words to the image...create a class or id to the image.Then textwrap either to the right or left.....OR if u want d image and words to be in differet column..use float..float to either left or right

hmmm since you want to put the header or the paragraph on the same line with HTML and css you have to state your background image position per pixel according to your header or paragraph

you can also make that possible by letting your IMage and your heading or paragraph be on same line eg <p><IMG src="image/card.jpg"> alt="card" height="100" width="100" /> this continuation of your paragraph</p> this would make your Line and image on same line

this is what you write when writing the code for the image, <img src="myimage.jpg" height ="100px" width= "100px" align="left">.
The 'align="left" ' orders the image to automatically follow the same line with the text, it is called text "wrapping".

I could agree with you on this, this would align your image left and right ,but this would not make it be on same line with your image technically and also that left and right alignment I don't it is being supported by html 5 as it's an old form of alignment which was supported by html 4.

like I said earlier the image on your site depends on where your paragraph or heading is for example <p>am going to work soon<IMG src="/mnt/sdcard/nairaland.jpg"/> this would make or create a little space for your image and also your paragraph which is am going to work soon is going to be exactly on same line, the align does something similar but this might be something like a drop cap but it depends on the users taste, HTML 5 does not support image align but he can also use CSS to float the image, left and right, so I guess I have answered your question
