Using your first image as reference, I'm assuming your image folder containing the rose-flower image is in the same folder as your index.html document, so the correct syntax should be like below

<img src="/img/rose_flower-1.jpg" />

The first problem is not putting the file path( attribute value) in quotes and second is having .html extension at the end of the file path. Try this again and lets see the outcome.
P.S. Why are you using a table?

Tnx bro, I got it.. Its like the whole HTML file itself. I now tried it on another HTML file and it works.. Using a tab cus I don't av a pc embarassed was thinking it will take me a bit far before I get a system

For the followers/students, you can expand your horrizon by visiting www.w3schools.com, they give an indepth analogy of the subject, though not quite different from what we are learning here.

I have some questions which i neeed urgent answers to. I've tried google, but i'm not getting specific answers, so i thought i should ask experienced fellows.

I intend lauching a website soon. The site is just 20 MB for now and it's meant to increase by 1% per month. My questions are:
1. Is there any webhosting site that offers free .com domain (at least for a start). If there is, kindly help me with some.

2. In terms of SEO pocket-friendliness, which wehosting/domain agent (that accepts bank deposit or GTB Mastercard) will you recommend?

NB: The website is more of a static website.
