Even the simpliest of things which you could do on your own, you want God to leave his dominion and come down to help you. It is baseless to state that you'll have to have faith in God before PHCN supplies you power. The nation has the responsibility of putting it place the relevant structures for power. God has given you the resources, Use it yourself. Will God come down to switch the power on for you? Will God magically provide the amount of Watts needed? Like · Edit · Yesterday at 2:31pm . . Nelly Sylvester It's Laziness and that's why they sit in darkness daily even though their God clearly said those who don't work may not eat!!! Lazy nation who consumes n consumes n consumes but no productivity!! Just picture God looking down upon a lazy nation full of people waiting for him to do everything for him! My mother never used to want to hear us cry hungry because there is food in the house but we are too lazy to cook it and eat or we are waiting for her as our slave to come and cook the food for us! But if there was no food, then we can cry, that's okay according to her! Does it not make sense? Imagine if you were a rich man and have a bunch of houses filled with material goods and children and some children in one house enlarged the house and made it more beautiful by being the best carpenters and engineers and lights the house up and supply even extra to the poor nebors: but another house with other children and equal goods supplied by you sit in the house and consume everything and live in darkness and shout faith in you, that you will come down in your old age to come and cook and clean and repair and build and enlarge the house for them!!? and year after year and after year, you rest and watch and don't respond and continue to bless the other houses with your hard working children and they grow and live longer and healthier and rich lives but the poor ones believe they and only they who are lazy are the ones who have faith but the well-off ones living advanced lives in rich countries do not!? Clever Jumoke, you now see that your so called faith is laziness and that you are only clever or wise in your own eyes! Keep waiting for God, okay! Let the youth of nigeria keep specializing in 419 and laziness why the politicians take your goods and cash and bring it to our banks in the Western World were we use it to develop the seed of the world God gave us even more and live rich healthy lives! (Oh, some of us realized that we don't like the laziness of some of Gods children in one of his houses (nigeria) and so we left to go and meet other children in the better houses were we can join them to work hard and enjoy great lives...so we live in advanced oversea countries now and we learn God does not supply electricity since he gave us dominion over his earth and we work very hard like the other children of God in these parts of his earth and enjoy the fruits) See! Simply. Keep sowing faith but remember faith without work is dead! Lazy people and even lazier thinkers... Unlike · 1 · Delete · Yesterday at 3:58pm

Akinwole Dudesuperfly Awe ^^ Which "States" are you talking about? Hope it's not the "states" in the continent of North America? If it is, it will be delusional to compare Nigeria, a country of just over 50 years, to the "States", a country of over 250 years! Like · Delete · 1 hour ago |

Meshach 'Andy Blaze' Augustine Would it also be delusional to compare Nigeria with even South Africa or Ghana? They are within the range of our independent age bracket but yet they seem to be moving a lot more faster towards complete civilization than this your Kleptocracy-ran Nigeria. Like · Edit · 1 hour ago . . Akinwole Dudesuperfly Awe Who is this Nelly casting aspersions at Nigeria? Is Nigeria the worst nation in the world? How, in all ramifications, can you compare America with Nigeria? Isn't that weird? Though, we know that Nigeria has been in the doldrums for years due to corruption in high places by our thieving leaders and the colonization and capitalist system by the west. That, however, shouldn't give you the gut to denigrate Nigeria with impunity! I still believe that one day, Nigeria is gonna be the pride of Africa, with the right leaders voted in power. If you have found yourself at the sorry end of the economic ladder no matter how much effort and hardwork u put into your job, if you find yourself in a nation you have to spend 5-6 years in the university for a course which could have taken originally 4 years due to Strikes, if you find yourself in a nation where the middle class is been eliminated and the gap between the rich and the poor gets enormous day after day, if you find yourself in a country where your business gets crippled due to incessant power failure and security hitches and your income gets reduced due to the amount of money you have to spend on gasoline every day AND you get the opportunity to be in a nation where things actually work, security actually works, 9-1-1 is actually working, the society is actually progressive and less antagonistic to your pocket once your hardworking, pay your tax and abide by the laws then there is no way you wouldn't sound like #NELLY. Akinwole Dudesuperfly Awe What are you on about, Andy? Juxtapose Nigeria's population, culture and tribal differences with South Africa's or Ghana's, and do the comparison. Nigeria is an heterogenous and multi faceted state, for crying out loud! If Ghana or South Africa is faced with Nigeria's overbloated population, or massive tribal difference, you think those countries would be better off than Nigeria? The number one challenge that Nigeria, as a Nation, has is from Culture and Tribal perspective. An Hausa man would never want an Igbo man to rule Nigeria, even if he(the Igbo man) is the right person to preside over the affairs of the country, due to nepotism, bigotry and Tribalism. Like · Delete · 1 hour ago . . Akinwole Dudesuperfly Awe Yes, Nigeria is a hell on earth! But you should never compare a third world nation, Nigeria, to a First world nation, America. What would you have done, if you were born in Afghanistan or Somalia? Commit suicide or go seek asylum in a neighbouring nation? Or aren't people living in those countries humans? Edited · Like · Delete · 35 minutes ago . . Nelly Sylvester At Akinwole I would have responded to you if after you attacked me, you have had the decency to address the original issue of Nigerians being the only people who actually believe and pray to God for electricity! The fact that you did not, tells me volume about you and also why nigeria is the way it is: persistent inability to focus on what is important! Given the choice between attacking the topic and a contributor and acting - based solely on blind emotions that prevent Nigerians from being able to focus; you attacked me and did not respond to the issue Meshach raised! This is why I can not take you seriously. Who I am is not important, so set your boundless fake patriotism aside for a second and address the issue raised! Do you know why you should, because since you don't know me and I do t know you...there is a very tiny possibility that I may have already invested more towards the development of nigeria than u have and that may give me the right to sound the way I do about the situation there! It is this what ifs(?) that makes us put breaks on when we attack strangers! Your population talk and the rest of your unintelligent banta have been addressed by Blaze...so, umma pass! You can as well come back to Nigeria and contribute your quota to the development of Nigeria. So many Nigerians have never gotten to the shores of America but they are thriving here in their fatherland. You and Meshach make it sound as though one must leave Nigeria to make it in life. Nigeria is bad, agreed. But I am gonna make it in the face of corruption and challenges facing the country. I'm out! Like · Delete · 15 minutes ago . . Nigeria's population is too much!! Hahahahahahaha!! Is the issue 'nigeria has the most tribes' or that 'Nigerians are the most tribalistic'?? Blaze already asked about China with 1.3billion humans!!? The more one try to bring out the issues so we can start to look at potential solutions...the more one is attacked! There is the Nigerian thieving politician, the pastors and those who insist things are fine the way they are n then of-course the nigerian: not sure who is more responsible for nigeria as it is: Either way, I think the problem with nigeria is Nigerians actually...and I can defend this belief any day! Akinwole Dudesuperfly Awe You just keep going round in circles! Does one need to leave Nigeria to the States or China to make it? Jeez! Who are these people I'm arguing with, for crying out loud? How do you compare China's population, a first world country, and apparently, the most powerful nation in the world, to Nigeria's, a third world country? I said juxtapose and compare Nigeria's population and cultural diversity with Ghana's or South Africa's, and here you and Meshach are, bringing China into the discourse. Na wah o! Like · Delete · 26 minutes ago Nelly Sylvester . . Again lack of focus @ Akinwole "does one need to leave nigeria to The States or China to make it" was never the issue raised and your heated emotions and sub-per education have actually blinded you to this simple fact! You have an agenda that wish to argue but this is not the time to do that... Some of us have made it so we are not obsessed with making it anymore. Lets try gently to bring you back to the original issue and I'm sure by now if any of your college profs where following this...they would be shocked: why do Nigerians pray for electricity!? Ugh, China is not a 1st world or developed country anymore than nigeria is: it's called an emerging market! China's populations averages about $3000 per year in productivity and 1st world advanced nations usually are in the $30,000 to $40,000 plus! Get your facts but still, the issue of China and population is irrelevant here...anyhow. Address the original issue...show some focus Are the Chinese not leaving China to move to nigeria or Ghana or the States or some other advanced or poor nations?? Why can Nigerians not leave nigeria if they choose to...and what does that have to do with Nigerians in nigeria praying for electricity from God!?? There are tens of thousands of US citizens here so why can in your opinion Nigerians not leave nigeria if they don't like it there? Who said everyone must leave to make it? Why can u not focus?? Like · Delete · 4 minutes ago . . Meshach 'Andy Blaze' Augustine What's has population has to do with the "Ogas at the top" who keep stealing billions and billions of dollars which should be used to better the lot of the nation? Yes every nation has its own problems, but then since u wanna bring population to the fore, I wanna make use of China and Usa; these are two nations with a large number of populace yet due to the good systems put in place by the government of these nations there is less disturbing amount of unemployment. But then in a lesser populated Nigeria, the rate of unemployment is alarming. Even lucrative courses like Engineering get their graduates stranded after service due to no work but then this is a nation which has more than enough resources and money with which enough jobs could be provided for the people. |
