General Overseer of Faith Revival Apostolic Church, Egbeda, Lagos Apostle Paul Taiwo Adenuga does not mince words. He says it according to his conviction. Take this from him: “Thereis a message I can regard as my favourite, it is titled: “Holy Raping”. You see today, some men including those who profess Christianity harass their wives sèxually. It is not supposed to be like that. The gospel we are preaching is the gospel of peace. Any gospel that cannot bring peace into the family is not of God. Some men have turned their holy matrimony to holy rǡping. I am referring to a situation where a man insists on having sèx with his wife whether the woman is sick or in pains. It is wickedness to force your spouse to sleep with you against her will. Some men may defend such action, saying after all they did not go out to fornicate. But it is ràpe.
“Forcing your wife to sleep with you is unholy even though you are in holy matrimony. I am putting my views on this issue together in book form because God must use someone to correct our fathers’ mistakes. Past generations have faced this problem and the present generation is still facing it. But everybody just kept quiet; everybody is enduring it. Women cannot go to their parents to report that.
“In this manner, some married women are practicing holy prostitution. Such women will tell their husbands if you don’t give me money to buy certain clothes, bags, shoes or whatever, I will not allow you to sleep with me. It is wrong. All these should stop.”
Indeed, Apostle Adenuga, who is also President, Apostle Paul Gospel Outreach preaches the word of God with uncommon passion. Like an old time prophet, his messages are not diluted.
At a time some of his colleagues are harping on prosperity, the indigene of Ago-Iwoye in Ijebu North Local Government Area, Ogun State maintains that salvation is the most crucial thing. He attributed the nation’s unhealthy moral temperature to greed and lack of fear of God.
