A Gas Pipeline Company in Nigeria seeks to recruit a HES (Health Environment and Safety) Specialist.

Job Role
The HES Specialist reports to the HESS Manager. The HES Specialist will provide guidance and support on all HES issues to operations staff in Nigeria and Benin.

Competencies Required
1. Knowledge and experience managing HES in oil and gas industry.
2. Knowledge of HES regulations in oil and gas industry in Nigeria.
3. Ability to use effective decision making techniques in solving problems ethically and in a timely manner.
4. Process Improvement. Reassess current processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
5. Time management and organisation skills.

Additional Competencies
1. Must be computer literate
2. Must have good communication skills.
3. Should be able to work as part of a team.

Education
Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Chemical) or a degree in any of the sciences.

Experience
Minimum of 4 years experience in HSE Supervisor Position.
