There was a time I wanted to be a freelance programmer, and so I decided to get certified in the areas of IT I have interest and experience in. I planned to get certified in Linux (LPIC), MySQL 4 (Core and Professional Certification), and PHP (Zend Certification). I also wanted to write some CompTia+ Exams.

I took only the 1st MySQL Exam before losing interest:
