Jeeze! I’ve missed Maye Hunta‘s music! The “Ekaette” crooner returns with two new singles “Hook” and “Virus”. Read the write up below while listening to both tunes. Dude is BACK!!!





“At the mention of the name Maye Hunta amidst Nigerian music lovers, two questions come to mind.
Who is really responsible for Ekaette’s belle and where has the creator of this viral phenomenon been of late? Considering the relative success of his first album titled “Mayefestation”, with other hit singles such as Paparazzi featuring Vector, which was later adapted as (African Star), the official theme song for Big Brother Africa 2010 Allstar and Owo faaji.




However, fans of Oga Ekaette don’t have to look much further as both questions are about to be answered: Maye took a break from the Nigerian music scene to start a family, tour in the US and also work on his sophomore album simply titled “ME”.




Hook (Shuperu) is the official lead single from his new project while Virus (La la la loo), ft Hoodbilli is a bonus single to say thank you to his ever supportive fans. Watch out for Ekaette 2, which will be a follow up single.
