I'm a rookie into the programming thingy...but when I try to install mechanize with CMDD...and I'm in the mechanize directly...Installing it only pops the error "Error: Can't crreate or Remove files in install ddirectory...bla bla Please somebody help..  |

How are u installing it? try easy_install |

Do you have setuptools installed? Have you tried python setup.py install? |

webcalculator: How are u installing it? try easy_installI know...Problem is I don't know how to go about the easy_install thing .. Its pretty complex tho Picomon: Do you have setuptools installed?Its python setup.py install that I tried installing when the above stated error was popping up....I'm stuck |

I guess you're on windows? Have you added the python path to the environment variable path? Also try and grant read and write permission to the directory. |

Damayor12: I know...Problem is I don't know how to go about the easy_install thingTo use easy_install, just google for easy_install script. run it and include scripts folder in environment variable. the script folder is the one at Python27/Scripts or Python33/Scripts |
