Obasanjo Should Please Stop Bluffing And Should Quit The Stage For The Youth by hipinnacle: 2:19pm On Aug 18, 2013
The former president, Olusegun Obasanjo is at it again. Just like the normal him, vocal, thick and loquacious. You hardly see the ex-president given room for decorum but tantrum. His usual appearance is to speak, criticize, castigate and pass over blames on others especially his one times loyalists.

What is therefore news is not new considering the stylish ways he whips the past and failing leaders of Nigeria with hardy words but what is however disturbing this time is that he bluffs with his most recent comment concerning the young politicians.

To be frank, president Obasanjo has always been a good observer of event and he always tries to passes judgments favorably without looking at anybody face when he feels something is wrong and need urgent attention but he got it all wrong most of the time? Why? Simple! He is part and a major player in the failing system. Whatsoever hardship Nigeria is facing today is as a result of the handiwork of past leaders and followership.

How can a man that God had given the opportunity to rule a country with a magnitude number of over 100 million for i6years as a head of state and president respectively. God used him to prove to mankind that he can enthrone an ordinary person, a prisoner and with a lesser education without the opinion of any man. This ought to have made him the most celebrated not only in Africa but also in the black race but he jeopardized the great chances he had to overturn the menace of every citizens of Nigeria.

Aremu Obasanjo ought to have proven the critics wrong that Nigeria state can work and prosper considering his intelligence, the right people and platform he had but he plays to the gallery of the critics’ big time.

He got it wrong by shifting the blames of a failing nation on the younger generations and crops of politicians. Even if he got it right In the names he mentioned like Atiku, Igbinador, speaker Bankole, Ibori and the likes to have being a disappointment to the young generation when given the chance to rule.

Does that mean millions of youth spread across the length and width of Nigeria are all corrupt, arrogant and cruel cum inexperience?

And I dare to say that if this young Nigerians are corrupt and fall cheaply for wanton and mundane cum materialistic things, are they not following the footsteps of their forefront leaders and fathers (which the yoruba refers to the ASIWAJUS’). Or should a thief blame another thief for stealing more than him. What moral operandi or justification is this?

It is morally insane for a corrupt father to call his children cheaters. It is genetically proven that a child will take some of the traits of his parents no matter what or else the children will be referred to as bastards.

8 years of meddling with corruptions, bribery, ineptitude and no success to show but only to rigmarole around the same circle just doing little and the same thing Invariably.

If anybody wants to castigate the youth, shouldn’t it be men of unwavering character? Yes! I mean unwavering; single-hearted, always saying what is the truth, right and full of morals. We the youth distaste the attitude of our old politicians. The way they are accruing wealth to themselves as if they will never die again is worrisome.

Majority of Nigeria youths are descent, purpose-driven, and passionate about change. It is crucial for the old politicians to mend their ways and lay good examples. Even if the youth make mistakes, it is permitted, for we can only become better, stronger and more experienced from our mistakes. The youths are the strength and pillar of any nation, it is therefore wrong for anybody to demean them and want to strip them off their leadership right. Leadership is not a birthright, this old ones should quit the stage and give younger ones ample chances.

Do you want anybody to toy with your right. I doubt you don’t want such. It is time to stand for your right and right the wrong by embracing change. Today, like www.facebook.com/APCTeamNigeria to join a formidable voice that is creating a platform for change in Nigeria.

It is time 4 change Nigerians.
