Need your suggestions guys. I am investing 4 mill in a cellphone shop. Need 2 know your past experiences for people in this field. Is there any money in it? What are profit margins like? Whats the best place 2 source for quality phones? What are the pros and cons of the biz? I want to do this on a larger & classier scale and not like the local mom and pop shops that have a clerk sitting behind security bars asking u what phone your interested in.

Poster, if really need advice, u'll get ur a$$ out in d biz areas nd ask dem. Most peeps here dnt own no stores, they jst see from the customer's angle, nd 4rm tht angle, every biz is d bomb. The customer doesnt kno wht the owner of d biz is goin 2ru right at the backend. So go out there nd talk 2 biz owners.

Monuoha,i suggest you take dual core's advice. You can visit a phone business shop like slot limited for example and ask them about the challenges they face and all that.

Thnx for the replies guys. Actually i dont find any of the responses to be offensive @ all. I need whatever reality checks I can get b4 i take the plunge into biz.

I live in the S. East & so cannot readily walk into any major cell phone shops like SLOT and ask 4 advise cos we have none. Which is where i fit in. I would like 2 be dat big eventually. Plus most Igbo people will not readily divulge any info about their biz 2 anyone, or they will paint a rosy pic, (dont mean to offend anyone, i'm igbo also)

I guess i was hoping there was someone here with first hand experience already.
