I am developing an application of which mysql database is the backend. I created a DNS for the ODBC connection. I used ODBC (ADO) to create connection for the report data souce. After i entered d root password as required, d report failed to load. These are d error messages Logon failed. Details: ado error code: 0x description: catastrophic failure native error please i nid assistance. I dont want to use ODBC (RDO) |

At last, i found solution to the problem. I populated a dataset and used the dataset as the datasource for my crystal report. During thr report designt, i actualy used the dataset to write an XML document which i used in getting the fields to the report via ADO.NET |
