Brain plants dotted the west

The east peopled by men swimming in ideas

The north tenanted by field dwellers

All speak not in transformation but in retrogression

Our brothers we appreciate as outlanders

Our common enemies we treat as gods

Our food we dish to foes

I'm depressed not because death awaits me

Who will explain to my brother?
