Many Ways Federal Govt. Can Generate Funds Needed To solve ASUU Crisis by Clerverly: 5:29pm On Aug 23, 2013
It is almost four months since the ASUU embarked on a nationwide strike demanding a monetary package said to be in the region of 83Billion. However the Fed Govt. has insisted, she cant afford that amount and only offered 30B, leaving a balance of 50Billion while citing non availability of budgeted fund as the reason. Every discerning mind knows that the Fed Government is being insensitive to the plight of the striking teachers. But if we were to believe their "no fund" stance, I have outlined the following steps/action to generate the fund as an immediate solution and get the students back to school.

1.Sell one of the GEJ's Presidential Jets - 36B
2.Stop work on Patience 4bilion naira house-save 3B
3.Stop the pipeline protection contract signed with Dokubo and co save-10b
4.Review the amount earmarked for first family's feeding save-1B
5.withdraw some money set aside to fight amaechi-save 7Billion
6.cut the money set aside for the First Lady mother's burial-save 1B
7.Empty all the money budgeted for Aso clinic which about 5Billion, since no one is using it-save 5Billion.

Let me stop here, since the above list has already added up the amount needed to implement ASUU's demands.
