You honestly think Suntai is still capable of governing a state?I seriously doubt it. He has become a vegetable, thus, incapacitated.

Thank God he is back. Governor Suntai is a great leader that should be celebrated, if he had thought of his own safety above his passangers, he would have parachuted out leaving them behind but as a real pilot, he tried to steer the plane to safety by remaining in the cockpit till the plane crashed hence becoming the most-injured victim, yet, it is some people's pleasure to claim he is brain damaged.

If any of the accusers had fallen off a 3-storey building under the pull of gravity alone, I wonder how long it would have taken them to recover and return to their feets.

Governor Danbaba, GOD BLESS YOU SIR!!!

How many people survive plane crash in history, people should be thankful for his life first, not bringing politics into it.

Glad to know he is fit to return home. However, is he still fit to govern the state? Shouldn't his deputy have become the governor by now?

i am not against him recovering or resuming his duty as a governor. my take is that he will leave that seat one day, he should resign and take care of his health. Nigerian leaders are prone to hanging on to power for the allowable period till death do them part - Yaradua as a case study. In more developed countries a political office holder will voluntarily resign because of health concern or something as minute as a sex scandal.

Surviving a plane crash no matter the circumstances is sheer miracle...as per his position as a governor/his health, events in the days/months ahead will determine. In between i pray we grow someday soonest beyond politicizing and tribalizing issues because its causing us as a country more under development in the midst of plenty(because we have both the human and the natural resources to make things happen positively for us).
Re: Suntai To Arrive Jalingo, Taraba Today by raytony: 11:36am On Aug 25, 2013
I know some people calling for his resignation are doing that because he is a christian. It has pleased God to spare his life, he will rule by God's grace. The loss of Governor Yakowa is still fresh, the Northern governorship seats are not for muslims alone so free this man and let him be.

i am a christian from the south south...and i believe an accident of that magnitude should make him resign n attain to his health.

God bless Suntai. Pls come and take over ur seat from that acting governor who has been a religious bigot, promoting violence mostly in Wukari LGA. Because he is a muslim thats why his fellow muslims in wukari have d guts to fight and chase Christians since Suntai left for treatment.

I remember those days in NYSC camp Jalingo when Gov. Danbaba Danfulani Suntai was always heavily represented by his deputy... Camp was fun.

God bless Suntai, NYSC Director-Mr. Freeman JP, NCCF Wukari Zone, and the good people of Taraba state.
God bless Nigeria!
