Ex member: ANC is part of antichrist


Johannesburg - A former senior
Eastern Cape ANC leader has formed
a new political party, the Saturday
Dispatch Online reported.
MEC Mkhangeli Matomela - one of
the ANC's longest serving members
of provincial legislature - gave an
inaugural speech at the launch of
The Kingdom Governance Movement
on Thursday in Bhisho, according to
the report.
Matomela said his new party would
soon be registered with the
Independent Electoral Commission
and contest the 2014 national
elections.
“I feel limited in the ANC and have
taken a decision not to campaign for
them for the upcoming elections but
for the prophetic kingdom politics,”
Matomela was quoted as saying.
Matomela is chairperson of the
finance committee and serves in
various portfolio committees
including housing and the standing
committee on public accounts.
According to the report he had been
working on the formation of the new
party for about a year.
During his address on Thursday
Matomela called the African National
Congress, Archbishop Emeritus
Desmond Tutu and the South African
and World Council of Churches part
of a global "antichrist" movement,
according to the report.
The newspaper reported that
Matomela has secretly been working
on the formation of the party while
drawing a huge pay cheque as an
ANC public representative - about
R1m a year.
