Responsibilities:
• The Recruiting officer will help to determine the overall recruiting strategy for identifying top talent for both vacant positions as well as proactively build a pool of candidates for future consideration.
• Handle staffing efforts for positions within the oil and gas industry.
• Identify top talent for open positions
• Perform cold calls and phone screens with candidates for various positions
• Conduct in-person interviews with viable candidates
• Research, recruit and identify talent through no cost/low cost channels
• Evaluate all resumes received and select candidates who are appropriate to enter into the interview process
• Solicit referrals and follow up with potential talent
• Conduct regular follow-up with team leaders to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans
• Manage & maintain all documentation using applicant tracking system (iCIMS) to track information and hiring
• Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
• Research new ways of using social media and the Internet for recruitment
• Assist in networking through industry contacts, association memberships, and employees

Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree required
• At least 1 - 2 years Marketing experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
