PDP Disowns Andy Uba Declares Tony Nwoye As It's Candidate by adamooye5(m): 4:35pm On Aug 26, 2013 |
The PDP said its candidate in Tony Nwoye. The Peoples Democratic Party has announced that its candidate for the November 16 Anambra governorship election is Tony Nwoye and not Andy Uba. Messrs Nwoye and Uba emerged as candidates at parallel congresses of the party on Saturday in Awka, the Anambra State capital. The PDP national chairman, Bamanga Tukur, stated the party’s position in Abuja on Monday while receiving the report of the party’s electoral panel chaired by Governor Ibrahim Shema of Katsina. The panel conducted the primary won by Mr. Nwoye. The other primary, won by Mr. Uba, a serving senator, was conducted by the parallel chairman of the Anambra chapter of the PDP, Ejike Oguebeo. Another person, Ken Emeakayi, is the factional chairman of Anambra PDP recognised by the national secretariat. Mr. Oguebeo is, however, recognised by the Independent National Electoral Commission as the Anambra PDP chairman. http://premiumtimesng.com/news/143490-breaking-anambra-governorship-poll-pdp-disowns-andy-uba.html

FreeGlobe: I dont have time for sentiments. Am in Anambra and i can bring the words from the streets. Anambrarians would have preferred Soludo but even as it is now, they are still rooting for APGA. So stop saying what you don't know on NAiraland. Elections are not won here nor on sentiments. Come to Anambra and figure. APGA is still the party to beat here. Thank you. |

^ Keep deluding yourself, even APC will win APGA today in Anambra not to talk of PDP. Peter Obi has failed woefully. APGA lost |

Okwute Ndigbo & President Jonathan are partners for the 2015 presidency and Anambra has to remain in Obi's hand to achieve that feat. 1 Like |

The spirit of confusion is at work in the life of Andy Uba. Andy cannot destroy Anambra and at the same time expect himself to govern.Recall the mayhem this rascal and his younger and one chuma nzeribe unleash on Anambra during the period Ngige held sway as the Governor. As far as Anambra is concerned,Andy is a failure.Wherever Andy goes, confusion accompanies him.He will never become Anambra Governor.Mba nu! Andy will one day dance unclad at nkwo Ugha market as a result of frustration. Ewu,Ewu kambia. |

Obi will try his best to make Apga candidate win this election. Whoever Obi puppets into Anambra Gov't House will help Obi, who will help GEJ gather Anambra polls, Obi also needs to protect all that he took from Anambra. Apga candidate stands a good chance against Ngige-who is popular(Soludo is lost) |
