1. Party loyalists and Counsels to all parties have started trickling into the court premises.
2. Gov Mimiko arrives Court premises.
3. The ACN candidate, Rotimi Akeredolu (SAN) and PDP candidate, Olusola Oke have also arrived the court premises.
4. Olusola Oke of PDP sits beside Gov Mimiko of LP, while Akeredolu of ACN sits far away inside the court room.
5. Judges enter the court room to begin hearing on the appeals.
6. The 7-man panel to preside over the hearing is headed by Justice Walta Unoughen
7. S.A Okuma leads appearance for Akeredolu, Wole Olanipekun announces Mimiko's team & Yusuf Alli announces the team for LP.
8. Wole Olanipekun objects ACN's counsel, Wole Aina's arguments, stressing that name of ACN be struck out since it was dead.

*‪ACN‬/Aketi's Counsel in a Judicial Mess.
*Legally & Intellectually Defeated.
*Admits ACN Is DEAD.

9. Aina for ACN says he would not withdraw the case of ACN is dead, as there is no evidence to that effect.
10. Referring to the evidence act, Aina for ACN says death of a party is not part of what should be taken judicial notice of.
11. The Justices say they will not grant any request for Aina to provide evidence to say that ACN is dead.
12. The Justices advise Aina to seek advise from his client, Rotimi Akeredolu on how to resolve his confusion.
13. Yusuf Alli says the death of ACN is a notorious fact & that the Justices should as a matter of fact take judicial notice.
14. Labour Party's counsel, Yusuf Alii prays the court to take judicial notice of the extinction of CAN
15. Aina for ACN apply for oral application to substitute ACN for APC, tactically admits ACN is dead

*‪‎APC‬/Aketi Faces Serious Legal Setback.

16. Yusuf Alli for LP adds that under the law, there is no provision for adoption of candidate by any political party.
17. Yusuf Alli argued that APC can not through the back door adopt Akeredolu as its candidate.
18. Court goes on five minutes recess

19. Olanipekun says Aina's application lacks merit & even if it had any, it ought to have been made by APC or its counsel
20. Olanipekun for Mimiko says the said application (substitution of ACN for APC) cannot be made by the court.

*ACN's Petition Suffers SETBACK.

21. S/Court strikes out the name of ACN from Akeredolu's appeal, it also refused the application to make any substitution.
22. Hearing has begun on substantive case in Rotimi Akeredolu's petition.

23. Olanipekun says with the earlier ruling,Akeredolu's case has become merely academic&the court cant grant the relief.
24. Relief that: the court should declare a re-run cannot be actualised as the ACN who sponsored him no longer exist.

26. Ikpeazu prays the court to allow their cross appeal fly, while dismis the appeal of Akeredolu.
27. Supreme Court to give judgement on Thursday in Akeredolu's appeal against Gov Mimiko's victory at the Appeal Court.
28. Fagbemi has announced the legal team for PDP and its candidate, Olusola Oke.
29. Dr Oladapo Olanipekun appearing for Mimiko against Oke/PDP, Yusuf Alli leading Adabayo Adelodun SAN and others for LP.

30. Fagbemi for the PDP says INEC did not publicly display the voters register in accordance with electoral laws.
31. Fagbemi alleged there were irregularities in the said election, asks court to declare his client winner of the election.
32. Dr Olanipekun now presenting for adoption of 1st respondent's (Gov Mimiko's) briefs of argument.
33. The case of d appellants has been narrowed down to d issue of injection which wasnt found by lower courts-Dr Olanipekun.
34. Dr Olanipekun says Olusola Oke did not give any proof of any injection in the voters' register.
35. Appellants sought toc establish their case on d evidence of one witness who wasnot everywhere @ d same time-Dr Olanipekun.
36. Dr Dapo Olanipekun says the appellant failed in the principle of substantiallity on his case.
37. Yusuf Ali aligns himself with Dr Olanipekun's submissions,prays d court to strike out Oke's case&allow their cross appeal

ONDO ELECTION PETITION.
"ACN Is Dead, You Can't Change ACN To APC. - Supreme Court Abuja.

The Supreme Court sitting Abuja removed ACN as party to the Election court case challenging the return of Governor Mimiko as Ondo state governor by INEC.
The Judge declared that ACN is Dead and will have not to do with the case in question. He refused the ACN's Lawyers application to substitute APC for ACN.
Court still in session.

1. All is now set for the Supreme Court judgment on the 2012, Ondo Guber poll
2. Already in court are top government functionaries from Ondo state and politicians.
3. Speaker of Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon Samuel Adesina led other lawmakers from the Sunshine State to the court
4. Court Bailiffs and Clerks arrive.
5. Justices arrive, case started. Near perfect silence in the court room. Court room filled to capacity.

ONDO GUBER: FINAL DAY AT SUPREME COURT.

13. Justice Murktar says only two out of five issues for determination in Akeredolu's appeal are valid

14. Supreme Court dismisses Rotimi Akeredolu of the defunct ACN's petition against Gov Mimiko re-election

15. He adds that appellant failed to prove beyond reasonable doubt criminal allegation of connivance in injection of names.
