Stancity: I bought this phone on Monday this week and since then it hasn't rest unless am asleep, am yet to discover any single lag, I play games a lot, music, videos, heavy browsing etc. the battery last like what I don't know, To be honest I charge my phone once a day and make sure the battery reaches at least 4% before I charge again.. the phone is very much ok for those that wants a value for their money....

Yes! 1, it void your warranty. 2, Your phone can get bricked easily because all the files in the phone can be deleted and when you delete system files your phone will remain in gionee logo only (bricked). 3, Some app dat required root access are harmful like installing font in your phone can brick it.
........ To root it, search for framaroot 1.6 apk with Google, install it then change superuser to superSU and tab boromir.. Notification dat superSU has been installed will show then reboot your phone and you're rooted.

Yeah, there was a User... 'Tonardo' who got this same Gionee p2... Buh he complained bitterly abt the phone and eventually put it up for sale.... Fortunately, you bought the phone from him and optimised it...
We were made to understand that he left some junks on the device which cummulated with other problem to give him that 'sour feel' he had with the phone....

Help!!! where will you operate to easily detect if it lag because there will be no enough time to check all components during buying?

Mafia4life: No body is casting the phone. The first users never said the truth. The battery is okay, the display is perfect, the camera is decent compared to Tecno 5.0 pixel. The phone doesn't sound though. Even with blast earpiece. Tecno is louder. The phone lags beyond expected. Nairalanders lied.
