The shirt he bought was at a cost of 97k, after you purchase you are left with 3k (which means 100k - 97k = 3k). He gave 1k each to his dad and mom, which is 3k - 2k = 1k, which is the 1k left with him. The acct is balanced this way. There is no missing 1k.

already paid 1K + 1K ) and the 1K is no longer part of the debt, it is for you.

So you can now say, 49K + 49K + 2K you paid back earlier= 100K

See this is it guy, you borrowed 100K( 50K from Dad + 50K from Mum) = 100K

You bought a shirt worth 97K and you returned 1K each to dad and mum. i.e

1K + 1 K = 2K (Returned Money)

so the total Expenses from you now is;

Shirt - 97K
Returned Money- 2K

Total- 99K

so the missing 1K is with you pal.

In other words, since u returned 1K each back to Dad and Mum, this implies that you borrowed 49K from
each and 49K + 49K = 98K and the cloth cost 97K. So the remaining 1K is with you.

OP i can see some one trying to plagarize my work. it seems u are nt in mathematical line? 1.when u in debt the numbr has to change from + to - so u are adding -98(ur total debt after returning 1k each to mum and dad) to ur 1k=-97k continue . .pls

which if u add 97k the money u use in buying d shirt to ur dept (-97k) u wil have zero(0) meaning u are not owing and if u are nt owing it then means u have a total of 100k and so there is no missing 1k
