I'm using a Samsung galaxy grand nd it's unrooted. My problem is d internet connection. Though my glo sim is vry fast in browsing, I don't use it cos I do exhaust d 250mb dey give me for a month in 3days or 1 week at most. And since dey don't allow glo BIS on android, I got an airtel sim.

I subscribed for their bis for a month and I wasn't even able to use 200mb out of d 1Gig I was given because d network is vry terrible. I subscribed for a 3month plan nd I was given 3Gig. it will expire 7th of sept nd I still have 1.8Gig left. Pls, airtel network is vry frustrating. I have to depend on glo daily 5mb to browse nd it's not enuf at all for me

I want to buy a mtn sim nd I need you guys to help me d step by step procedure on how to go about it. I saw stuffs lyk androidvpn or watever in oda threads nd i dont undastand. Jst put me thru abeg. My friend ,I u'std you well cos the same thing happend to me,but this time it was with mtn,not even airtel,I also use a samsung galaxy grand ,my data bundle finised like the next day even when it was for 1month.I advice you find out first which network works better in your area,cos mtn drank my data bundle like water.I used airtel before,network was slow,then I went to mtn ,mtn did not even allow my me use my money ,d money just disappered.I am currently back to airtel again because I don't want to hv mutiple lines,my data does not finish asap and it works well in some areas,I wld suggest u find out abt etisalat as well ,they are also good.

If it is Android 4.0 or 4.1 upward (I can't remember now) you don't need to root it but, if it is less then, it needs to be rooted before you can use MTN BIS subscription plans on it.
First, download and install Droidvpn and Tun.ko from the Play Store. The, visit Droidvpn website and register for a free account with them.

Just want to help, if you will, all network data from A-Z are rated the same.
Be reminded that 250MB video streaming from Youtube may disappear in less than 10minutes depending what you watch.
To save data,install Droidvpn+Tun.ko, install opera browser beta version, at settings disable load image. Don't be tempted in any way to visit websites of n.k.d women. if you have being doing that, don't blame anybody.
Suffice to say, that whatever you re doing online is documented and datad by your ISP

op u can use droid vpn to power mtn bis since ur grand runs on android 4.1.2 u dnt need to root subscribe to any mtn bis plan download droid vpn frm playstore register a free account first open droidvpn n login with ur username n password then change udp port to 50...I also use galaxy grand

BTW the guy who said the udp port is 50 made a mistake. Its Udp 500.
