The Infinix Race Bolt Q: Review And Specs by scofield33(m): 10:26am On Sep 06, 2013
The Nigerian smartphone market is getting hotter by the day with rivalry among manufacturers of low-end devices. Tecno keeps churning out new Android phones, and Infinix isn’t relenting either. Recently, Infinix released another fantastic device, the Infinix Race Bolt Q.

Here, we’ll be reviewing the new Infinix Race Bolt Q, stating why it beats the rest in its cadre.

Design

If there’s one aspect that makes Infinix stand out from other budget phone makers, that would be the design. And the Race Bolt Q is another telling proof of this. The device looks graciously sleek with slightly curved edges with a thin silver-like band running around its edges.

Most of the front surface, as expected, is occupied by the 4.5″ display, flanked above by the secondary camera and speaker and below by the three control buttons.

Display

The Infinix Race Bolt Q flaunts a 4.5-inch capacitive touch screen display, which displays crisp and clear images. If you’re a stickler for 3D games or someone who uses a smartphone as a cinema or camcorder, you’ll enjoy this phone.

Camera

Here comes one of the killer features of this device — the camera. The primary, rear-facing camera packs a whopping 8 megapixels, and the secondary, front facing camera has a 3 megapixel resolution. Even most high-end Android devices don’t have secondary cameras that can stand that of the Infinix Race Bolt Q.

So, if you take pictures or record videos often, you’ll find the device a perfect companion that is made for you.

Processor and memory

The Infinix Race Bolt Q runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It packs a powerful 1.2 GHz quad core processor with 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory (expandable with microSD card). With this combination, the Infinix Race Bolt Q runs even the heaviest apps and 3D games smoothly — no lagging.

To cap up its great qualities, the Race Bolt Q comes with a strong 2050 mAh Li-Ion battery.
