All cars come with a coolant bottle. Some drivers may not be familiar with them. Inside this bottle is what is commonly called 'Coolant'! It is a fluid that should when performing at its best absorb heat from the engine and then dissipates it through the radiator. with fresh coolant.

Most cars have a plastic coolant bottle that is connected to the radiator by a hose, so there's no need to open the radiator itself to check the state of your coolant. The coolant level should not be above the bottles MAX line when the engine is hot. Whenever you do a service - always check your coolant level.

Draining out and refilling your coolant bottle will clear out possible dirt and rust particles that can clog up the cooling system. In our hot environment the rust inhibitors in the coolant will break down quickly thereby leaving your engine and radiator vulnerable to corrosion. Always check your coolant level periodically.
