In view of the political calculations and permutation currently taking place in the country, it has become pertinent to get the views of fellow Nairalanders, (mostly those from the senatorial district mentioned above) How prepared are we for the coming Senatorial Election/Selection?

In recent times, virtually all shade of posters have emerged with different shades of characters parading themselves and campaigning for the peoples votes, despite the fact that no meaningful infrastructural development has been recorded in this district since the coming of this present administration of Uduaghan and the late Senator Pius Eweridoh.
Hence the need for us to insure that our votes count this time around and also not to be fooled or deceived by those Poli-trick-sians who are bent on ensuring that even with our numerical strength in the region and the entire state, we remain puppets in the hands of some so called "political godfathers and "Maradonas".
This is only a clarion call, that now is the time to know the true character(s) of whoever you wish to vote for, the time to reflect on the contribution of the candidate to the region either as a group or as an individual. Also the time to ensure that moneybags or godfathers do not dictate who is elected into any elective office in the region again.
