I am also in the game but I have not made anything in it but I believe it is very good and one can make good money from it if you know what you are doing , it all involves buying a good domain name and selling it off for profit. a good domain name would be dog.com , company.com , banks.com etc. But the problem is most of the good domain names are all bought but you can always get some good names provided you are creative enough.

Most hosting services offer experienced webmasters to obtain their own private label domain reseller package after approved the reseller/private partner application by hosting services. Some not required some experience obtaining domain name resellers. Vary from hosting services to another hosting service differently.

Some has ready-to-use marketing/ecommerce package for approved domain resellers. Some don't!

You people are a bit wrong , I am sorry for to say , You can buy a domain name for $8 dollars and sell if for as much as 1000 dollars the same day. The way to go about it is to be watchful of some domain names about to expire but with some backlinks and google page ranking. There are so many softwares out there one can use to grab good and valuable domain names but they are not free. any one interest can contact me and we talk more on it
