Any Hope For Tejuosho Shoppers? by uzoo: 6:03pm On Jun 18, 2008 |
hi everyone its really sad what happened to business in tejuosho market ( especially for the traders) i go there to do most of my house hold shopping, even personal shopping from curtains to underwear, apparel to food stuffs, because of the variety now i cant even find one customer to buy from, who knows when they'll finish the construction work going on there |

I share your sentiments, the beginning of the project hasn't even been launched. So the completion might be futher away then we imagine, considering the spate of things going on. The Balogun market is available, and Yaba itself is semi functional. If you call shopping by the road side with motor cyles (okadas) giving you a run for your high blood pressure as they wheez past in droves! And the desperate traders (males) tugging, pushing, cursing, robbing, rubbing, groping at you to encourage you to patronise their wares is anything to go by. All in all, I sure miss my Yaba. You can still get some sort of shopping done, as long as you know the tunnels and alleys to explore outside the demolished market. |

@HR.Hotness i feel you dear, tejuosho market has been levelled to dust and stones as we speak , i couldnt believe my eyes when i got there. the market was set ablaze last christmas, and since then , they've pulled the entire structure down. |

To the traders, they have know choice than to look for better place for themselves. If they are still depending on government or the land thy've fail is better for them to find where to stay and sell there goods. Pls don't predict stay kool |

well, some still hang around the road side, while some trade from home, you know, they contact thier customers by phone whenever they have new items when i came back i had to find some numbers from my old sim card in order to get in touch with some curtain dealers, from the market And they did everything at my place. it was tough, considering the PHCN factor. |
