Euan Blair, 29, and Suzanne Ashman, 25, tied the knot at All Saints parish church in Wotton Underwood, Bucks, yesterday, 8 years after they first began dating.

The newly-weds were joined by friends and family on both sides, including Tony and Cherie Blair and the bride’s entrepreneur father, Jonathan Ashman.

The bride looked stunning in an ivory, lace-fronted dress with veil, holding the hand of her husband who wore a blue suit with white carnation and turquoise tie.

It was revealed earlier this week that the bride’s stepmother, weather presenter Sian Lloyd, had been uninvited to the day amid speculation that it was to do with her anti-Iraq war sentiments.

Euan Blair is the chief commercial officer for recruitment and training agency Sarina Russo Job Access, while his new wife works as an analyst for Social Finance, a company which raises money for charities and social enterprises. Simple people and wedding! Were it to be Nigeria, you'd see a lot of invited and uninvited fat persons, stuffing themselves, hustling , brandishing cars and clothes bought on credit and spraying fraudulently acquired monies. Each trying to outdo the other.
