It's not certain that the doctors report was false. She may have gone into premature labour or gotten her dates wrong. Even if it was, unless the woman or the doctor confesses, it'll be impossible for Arik to prove anything because medical records are confidential.

Even though it would be wrong for the woman endanger and inconvenience the other passengers by lying, we shouldnt jump to conclusions. It might not be her fault.
