Rooting allows u to have access to what any app... Its makes u control ur fone d way u want... Not the way the manufacturers wants....

U can backup ur apps with ur lappy also... Or u can use titanium backup!

Connect ur usb to ur laptop nd send files easily nd fast..

my candid advice

p2 got better design and lighter than p5
p2 got agps and Compass.
p2 got 16m color display while tp5 is on outdated 256k
p2 has got blue tooth v4 as to p5's v3.
custom ROMs available for p2.

limitations of p2 (all fixed by custom rom sha)
512mb ram not good for amingo rom (you may flash untouched jelly bean 4.2.2 to fix this)
No 3G on sim2 (still flash untouched jelly bean 4.2.2 to fix).
conclusion
if you are faithful to brand name tecno then still go for p5

Ba3 comparison i will prefer p5 to p2 i 1nce use p2 and d ba3 is no match 4 p5

Ma tp5 ba3 is very 9ice but it misbehaves at times ..yestadae it was veri bad..it loosed a % everi mnute...but todae its veri strong 2% last for at least 10minutes on heavy usage.iz it normal or iz dere a. Prob?

@manic, it happens depending on what you used to charge your phone. If you use laptop to charge your phone or any kind of fake charger it Will drain fast buh if you use original charger with confirm electric supply,the bat3 go last

Still using my Nokia device. We should just keep our fingers crossed. I don't usually fancy Android device with 512MB Ram.

kolidave: download framaroot from google play install it,select supersu then click on boromir that's all then use root checker to check if your phone is really rooted.
To install and use cmw,1. Download and install busybox on ur android..
this allows ur fone's root to be visible to mtkdroid
tools.
2. download and install Mtkdroid tools for ur pc.
3. download Pdanet drivers for ur pc.. Note:there
are 2 types... 1 for a 32-bit system and d oda for
a 64-bit system..
4. Launch and install d pdanet for ur fone from ur
pc( ur fone must be connected to d pc).. follow d
on screen instructions
5.. Now open Mtkdroid tools.. wait for it to detect
ur fone..d yellow bar underneath d must change
to green before u continue
6. Click on root,backup and recovery... den tick
on To use.boot from fone.. now click on Recovery
and boot..
7. The tool will load and then ask u To make CWM
automatically?? click yes
8.Now u really av to wait while it creates d
backup.. it takes roughly 15mins.. finally it will
say Install created recovery to phone? click yes..
9. now it will prompt u to boot into CWM mode to
know d success.. from der u can den create ur
own backup.. I@ had abt 6 files in my
clockworkmod folder after dbackup

it depends on ur PC... if ur PC is a 64bits pc, download 64, if it is 32, go fr 32
