I got the chance of watching akeelah and d bee again....it got me thinkin why dont we organize such in 9ja probably sponsored by telecom comps or banks....imagine if sec.sch winners of such také home 1m naira while d folks in d uni get 5m naira....it cud go a long way in our decayin educational sector...plz share ur thoughts |

I watched it today too, but I'm thinking instead of we copying everything like the x factor and all the reality rubbish why not the telecom sector and other rich ogarnizations copy educational things like the spelling bee |

There s spellng bee here in Nigeria i could remember vividly that i represent my school @local level bk then in school 2009. I came second so i could nt go for the National stage... |

Yea, there used 2 b spelling Bee in lag some year back, sponsored by lagos state govt during Tunubu's tenure, the winner usually act as one day governor nd other scholarship attached. |
