I remember Nursery and primary school days, when we usually sing prayers before eating. “Some have foods but cannnot eat....“. But these days, how many people remember to pray? I forget sometimes and times when I remember, it‘s more of a sentence than prayer.. wink

I always pray if I'm eating outside my house.

But in my house I only pray when I remember, sometimes when I'd already taken the first spoon or the first ball.

I can't remember when last i prayed before eating. Even before when i used to pray before eating, it was a mere formality. I pray God forgives me.

Talking about praying before eating, the understanding I got from the scriptures is that Jesus gave thanks every time before breaking bread (eating) so I always give thanks to God for providing the food and that's all

Whenever I pray, I pray that Father should bless me... knowing that, anything I tough becomes blessed.

I touch spoon, blessed
Spoon touches food, blessed.

More so, we are meant to thank God for d food not to bless it.
