OAP of Rock City 101.9 FM, Abeokuta Edward Fortune (popularly called Fawtchune Toh Badt) was working the afternoon shift. Since the day was also Ruggedman’s birth day, he took the liberty to wish him a happy birthday. This was said to have infuriated his boss. For the man in charge, it was an advert and must be paid for and the OAP was fined N40, 000.

So how does a birthday ‘shout out' on air constitute an ad we may ask?
