AMAZING!! Thoughts Of A Yoruba On Facebook. by Mieye007: 9:00pm On Sep 24, 2013 |
Di'matteo Matxkey Akande When I voted President Jonathan in 2011, I did'nt vote a superman,I did'nt vote a magician,I did'nt vote a miracle worker, I voted a man of flesh and blood, imperfect with his own mistakes,so i wonder why anybody in his right thinking senses will expect this man to transform nigeria that has been misruled for over four decades in just 2years and four months of his 4year tenure. It is this same kind of greed, politics of bitterness and ethnic sentiments that has kept us where we are today. For those who can't see anything good in Goodlucks's administration i totally agree with you,how can you see the right things when you're constantly focused on the left? How can you see anything positive when you constantly focus on the negative? The media prefers to publish the negative things about his government and hardly informs the masses ofthe transformation that has taken place in certain areas in this country, of course the negative news and insults sells more and earns them more readers. The mafias in politics are fighting tooth and nail to pull him down, their means of corruption and looting has been blocked and so they want to pull him down no matter what it takes. Its not coming as a surprise to me anyway, in the words of Jonathan Swift, the satirist and political pamphleter "When a true genius appears in the world you may know him by this sign, that the dunces are all in confederacy against him". Its human nature never to be satisfied anyway, the people of Israel asked God for a leader,he led them out of egypt yet they rebeled against him and preferred to return to egypt. In the end of it all,Jonathan's works and results will speak for him. He was elected in May 2011,this is September 2013 and they want him out of office already. God is on the throne. 1 Like |

The lazy thought of a typical Nigerian. You may want to think about how Japan was able to transform helfself from a backward medieval backwater to a developed country in less than 100 yrs You may do the same for china,Singapore,Taiwan. You may also ask why Malaysia ,Indonesia ,Brazil etc are doing better. I WILL GIVE YOU A HINT. THEY DO NOT PUT UP WITH MEDIOCRITY AND MEDIOCRE LEADERS. You can take a look at the video of the Kenyan president (inspite his flaws) and check out what leadership in times of crisis ,is all about. THE FACT THAT YOU CAN PUT UP WITH HIM DOES NOT MEAN OTHERS SHOULD AND VICE VERSA. IT IS ALSO INDISPUTABLE THAT GEJ CANNOT WIN SHOULD A TRULY FREE AND FAIR ELECTION WERE HELD IN 2015. FOR MOST, THEY ARE FERVENTLY PRAYING THAT HE DOES NOT DRIVE THE COUNTRY OFF A CLIFF BEFORE THEN https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tzd6tPWec4E THAT IS LEADERSHIP THE FIRST TEST OF A COMMANDER IN CHIEF 2 Likes |
