Good day everyone,

Can someone assist me identifying this decoder.
I have been told that it is a Strong X2, it was made in Korea.
Find attached front panel picture and system information screenshot.

Thanks in advance

That is one of the first set of receivers brought in my strong technologies/mytv before they even floated the mytv package. It was the ''ish'' during the time it was introduced and had a decent signal reception/sensitivity.

Don't go buying that stuff because (1) its mpeg 2 and (2) there won't be any original of it still left as it was discontinued more than 6 years ago.

Regards.

Its one of those boxes one should have, if not for anything, but for its high signal receive sensitivity. Good for tracking birds.

I would like to know why you want to upgrade your rx. As I know that the canalsat package is still available on Nss7ku.

But this is the links for softwares for model X.

For africa

http://crosat.us/upload/index.php?&direction=0&order=mod&directory=Strong%20Receivers/Strong%20WIZKID%20Files/Strong%204%20Africa

for middle east

http://crosat.us/upload/index.php?order=mod&direction=0&directory=Strong%20Receivers/Strong%20WIZKID%20Files/Strong%204%20Middle%20East&offset=70

Scroll through the page and you will see the one applicable to model X.

And for the pc software loader;

you'll also see it on the page.

Regards.
