Chief Medical Director of IMSUTH, Dr. Chijioke Nzewuihe and Its management counterparts has refused to refund patients their balance, after an initial deposit collected before treatment. The people of Orlu and Imo people at large has grossly lamented on this issue since the appointment of the new CMD. Patients admitted into the hospital are forced to make an initial deposit before they are treated. And after their discharge, the hospital management will refuse to refund them of their deposit after their bill has been released.

Alot of people has been on queue for months to collect their excess/ balance but the hospital management keeps telling them that there is no money to refund them yet. The balance/ excess should even be refunded to the patient before they are discharge because it is an unspent money that is not part of the hospital bill. GOV. ROCHAS OKOROCHA must here this!

alot of patients can attest to this fact. patients re defrauded on a daily basis because Gov Rochas is yet to hear this.

Some body needs to intervene to stop the fraud.
Other Teaching hospitals set up same time with IMSUTH Orlu are fast turning to giant teaching and research hospitals, how about IMSUTH?

But who is sure Gov. Okorocha can get to read or hear this and intervene? Besides, Gov Okorocha sems to set more of his govt's attention to building 27 new and well equipped general hospitals, while the teaching hospital still remains at the nursery stage more than 10 years after it was set up.
