Government Job Vs Private Job: Which One Will You Prefer? by ambrosini593(m): 2:55pm On Oct 03, 2013 |
In government job you can stay idle through the whole day without working or touching a file thereby limiting your working skills. But in private, you will work throughout the day that you will even praying for break. But you will learn more skills working all through the day In government job your salary is paid just before or at the end of the month. But in private, your salary can be heard, delayed for extra days. In government you can work for 10 years without having enough experience. But in private, working for 5 years can take you over the person working for ages in government. In government your job is secured, it can take time before you can get sacked. But in private, you can get sacked with just the first mistake you will make. That is no job security In government job you can find outdated or no equipment that can be use for working thereby making you not to grow on the job. But in private, you can find all sort of new modern working technological instrument or equipment that will increase your work performances and skills. In government job someone can sit on your promotion for months and years because of jealousy. But in private job, your performance alone will make way for your promotion In government you can be paid pension after retirement. But in private, you can't be paid retirement pension in government you can be transferred from time to time. But in private, transfers are very rarely except the company has branches. In government your company cant close. But In private, the company can fold up thereby leaving you jobless. In government you can hardly be sent for training. But in private, you can be sent for training all the time. In government you don't need to perform or attend interviews before you can get the job. all you need is just connection from Abuja, government officials etc. In private, you must perform very well during interviews, you must prove to the company that you are qualified for the job. In government you can earn more salary. But in private, salary are poor except big companies Which one do you prefer? |
