1. Gyuri girls talk era, I don't know, gyuri looks like a goddess to me, like she could play a mermaid or something. She mostly favors blonde-ish hair, I love this

2. Hara don't know the era but she looks like a Japanese doll, when celebrities were hiding the fact that they had work done on their faces, hara was one of the first idols to reveal that she had work done and she was proud of herself and I'm proud of her.

3. Seungyeon I liked red hair seungyeon, even though she's the main vocalist she never really stands out but with this red hair she was more visible, some people need loud colors to be seen tbh

I don’t know if BTS performed and I don’t think they did but Lay did not. He was just there as an official Chinese music ambassador. Hopefully he will be nominated and get to perform next year.

I get, it makes them look beautiful, babyish and all but at times it just too much, don't you think. in all fairness they are not the only ones who does it tho, Americans does as well but they don't overdo it like Koreans. majority of those american ones uses lip stick and fresh powder.
Beard: it is almost impossible to see beard on Korean males. especially their youths and idols, its like poison for them... they have taken use of make up and No beard to different level entirely.

@those Grammy's, they could have wear killer suits with their hair brushed up and little make up, Black hairs would have been more preferable.

The issue is with the stereotypical beauty standard for men. We are socialized to believe that 'real men' go about with beards and armpit hair, spitting up and down and peeing to mark their territory. LOL, you get the point even if i exaggerated. In Nigeria for instance, if it is discovered that a man uses foundation or eye brow pencil ,etc he will be yabbed by men and women alike with 'Na woman you be? Abi you be gay'. In countries like Japan and Korea, they don't have such ideas of 'manliness', they are socialized a different way. Because you don't understand something since your society is not that way doesn't mean it's wrong. Las las, they're not hurting anybody and let's face it, they look waaaay better than those guys that won't even use Vaseline on their chapped lips because.....MANLINESS.

It's a cultural thing, since the 1800s Asian men have obsessed over their looks, they grew their hair out, the finest men got to hang around the kings or whatever (there have been speculations that most of their royalty were bisexual but I'm not going to talk about that) anyway its the normal thing for them, that's why most of them pierce their ears. All those sereren is as normal as the sun rising from the east to them. They also make up so the camera can capture them well. Asians are not really hairy so their beard grows one-one, and looks sparse and ugly, it basically makes them look like beggars, that is why most of them shave, also I'm not really sure why but idols are expected to be clean shaven, I've watched a lot of shows where the idols took permission to go use make up to cover up stubble from their chin.

Now why the hell are you referring to bts and lay as Grammy's. Face south Korea and offer 3 formal bows now!

We're so used to having ZERO standards when it comes to male hygiene and care in this part of the world that the simplest things seem extra.
