It is sad that many people are being deceived by other people and also by themselves in thinking that once GOD/CHRIST JESUS performs miracles for you, then you are His child and you are in right standing with Him.

One can receive diverse genuine miracles and still go to hell if he fails to repent.

Miracles, healing, prosperity, breakthrough, promotion, etc are tertiary issues; they are they other things (jara) that GOD will add if we seek first HIs kingdom and His righteousness.

Unfortunately, I think that 60% - 80% of Christian are busy seeking after the other things while neglecting or not aware of the primary thing.

Why did you come to Christ Jesus? Are you saying that you are born-again because of what you expect to get from Him?

Please not everybody that goes to worship in a 'church' (I just referred church as the place of worship of christians based on common knowledge) is a christian. A christian is anybody who has been reconciled back to GOD through JESUS CHRIST and His finished work on the Cross of Calvary, autheticated by the Holy Spirit. A christian is also that one who lives like CHRIST JESUS on moment by moment basis.

Have you been born by the Spirit of GOD? Are you a disciple of JESUS CHRIST?

I quite agree with you on this. When God delivered the Israelites from Egypt with diverse miracles, signs and wonders, one might believe they will all enter the promised land but nay; only Joshua and Caleb made it to the promised land.

Moses through whom God delivered the Israelites and performed most of the miracles did not himself enter the land of Canaan.

In thesame vain we may receive counless miracles from God in life, but if at the end our names are not found in the book of life, eternal salvation will definitely elude us.
