Mko Abiola won the popular June 12 election 20 yrs ago but was not allowed by the then millitary junta to rule.. The great politician won the election withou an iota of rigging which is very unusual in Nigeria polity. We are now in the 14th yr of democracy,yet little has been done to in terms of development. If Abiola had ruled, what would have been the level of development in Nigeria? I strongly believe that things would have been much better and organised under his leadership. |

No one can tell what would have become of Nigeria but one thing is sure, his government would have been toppled by the military! The Law of Karma paid back Abiola in his own coin, how I wished he became President even if it's for a month. |
