The BET Hip-Hop Awards is an annual awards show, airing on BET [Black Entertainment Television, an American cable and satellite television channel that is owned by the [i]BET Networks division of Viacom. It is the most prominent television network targeting African American UK and African audiences, currently reaches more than 90 million households[/i]] showcasing Hip-Hop performers, producers and music video directors. This annual awards show encompasses different highlights including Rap freestyles from different groups known as the "Cypher". Each group exhibits their lyrical prowess with artistes basing their freestyle on their current situation or mental state, but could also have a ready supply of prepared lyrics and rhyme patterns they can use as filler. Since the advent of the BET Hip-Hop Awards; as a tradition, many countries have joined in recording their versions of "BET Cypher" to commemorate and show support for the annual awards.

This year 2013, a group of Nigerian artistes - Magnum, Dola-Billz, AY, Material and DJ Notorious Neptune deliver mind-blowing Rap freestyles in honour of the awards ceremony, the BET Hip-Hop Awards.
