Our selection processes are designed to make sure we're absolutely right for each other. A step by step process

Our selection process will give you every chance to show us what you're made of and that you have the skills we’re looking for. After you’ve completed the application form, you will be asked to take some online ability tests, followed by an interview, then finally an assessment centre which includes an interview with a director or partner, a group exercise, a written exercise and ability tests. 

Here's how it works:

Step 1: complete the application form

Once you've decided where you'd like to work within PwC and which route you'd like to follow, fill in our online application form. Make sure you research your answer to the question asked and ensure you answer each part! After completing this form you’ll be invited to take some online ability tests.

Step 2: take some online tests

You’ll be asked to complete numerical and verbal reasoning tests online. You'll give the tests again at the assessment day - this time on paper and supervised - so doing them online is good preparation. If successful you will be invited to a first interview.

Step 3: first interview

This stage involves a one-to-one interview, which provides you with the opportunity to display the qualities that paper can't do justice to. We're looking for you to provide us with evidence of the skills we are seeking as well as reassuring us that you've thought carefully about your career choice. You need to be able to demonstrate that you have a clear interest in the business world and PwC.

Step 4: attend an assessment centre and final interview

The assessment centre at PwC will consist of tests that measure your numerical and verbal reasoning skills; a written communication exercise; a second interview - normally with a partner or director from the business area you want to join and a group exercise.

This may sound a lot, but don't worry - the centre is designed to be as interesting and enjoyable as possible, giving you the chance to demonstrate your best qualities and find out as much about life at PwC as possible.

Step 5: receive an offer

You shouldn't have to wait too long. We'll let you know whether we'd like to make you an offer as soon after the assessment centre as possible.

Step 6: pass our checks

Once you accept an offer, our Pre Employment Screening Team will verify the academic and employment history you outlined on your application. This makes it absolutely essential that you complete your application form accurately and truthfully, including all module marks, dates and grades achieved. All of the information you provide will be checked rigorously (although active checks won't be made against social networking sites). Also, if you are joining a business area with Government and public sector clients, further checks will be carried out in line with the Government’s Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS), including a criminal record check and proof of residence.

What Next?

Before your start date you may find it useful to come back for a visit. This will allow you to have a more personalised, informal chat about what to expect once you join, take a look round the office where you'll be based and meet some of your new colleagues.

Not necessary. You'd be placed accordingly after the interview . Although most people will end up in Audit/Assurance.

As for me, I like the auditing part. We will scale tru by God's grace

Pls guys I need your help. I completed the verbal part on monday. So I started the numerical today, on getting to question 2 of d numerical power at the cyber cafe went off. I tried logging back in but it told me I failed to complete d assessment.I'm really sad right now.any advice?

Done the numerical and that's that. Not as bad as I thought @ first. Missed I question though. Somewhat easier than the practice questions actually. Hoping for some good news soon. May God carry us through.

Man, started d verbal, saw it was easy, got too relaxed, wasted time, and later wen difficulty level started risin, tension ensued, couldnt complete test and missed some questions out of sheer foolishness.... But I know I'll still pass sha... I'll try nt to mk same mistakes in em quantz.... Man, how soon do they send those success/regret mails sef?

Will still take verification test at their office at the end maybe 70-100 will get offer letter.
Just went through the trend for the 2012 set, 80 plus got offer letter
